Privacy & Police Nusantara Kids
This Privacy Policy describes how Mangga Muslim ("we", "our", or "us")
handles information in connection with the Nusantara Kids mobile
application (the "App"). Nusantara Kids is an educational application
designed for children aged 4–7 and is participating in Google Play's
Designed for Families program. We comply with the U.S. Children's
Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), the EU General Data Protection
Regulation for children (GDPR-K), and Google Play's Families Policy.
1. Information We Do NOT Collect
Nusantara Kids is built with privacy-by-design for children. We do not
collect, store, transmit, or share any of the following:
- Names, email addresses, phone numbers, or other personally identifiable
information (PII)
- Photos, videos, voice recordings, or any media captured by the device
- Precise or approximate location (GPS, Wi-Fi, IP-based)
- Contacts, calendar, SMS, call logs, or files outside the App's sandbox
- Persistent device identifiers (Android ID / SSAID / IMEI / MAC address)
for tracking purposes
- Behavioural profiles or cross-app/cross-site tracking data
- Account or login credentials (the App has no sign-up or login)
The App does not require an internet connection to function (except
for serving ads, see Section 3).
2. Information Stored Locally on the Device
For the App to remember a child's progress between sessions, we store the
following only on the device using Android's local storage
(SharedPreferences). This data never leaves the device and is not
transmitted to us or any third party:
- Mission-completion progress (e.g. "Olahraga Ceria – Senam Pagi: done")
- Star reward count earned within the App
- Selected app language (Indonesian / English) and audio preferences
(background music on/off, sound effects on/off)
Uninstalling the App removes all of this data.
3. Third-Party Services
The App integrates with the following third-party SDKs. Each is
configured for child-safe operation per Google Play Families Policy.
3.1 Google AdMob (advertising)
- Purpose: display non-personalized banner and native ads to support
free distribution of the App.
- Data accessed: device-level information needed to serve ads (IP
address, coarse country, app version, basic device info such as model
and OS version). The advertising ID (AAID) is used in non-personalized
mode only as required for child-directed traffic.
- Configuration: ads are tagged for child-directed treatment
(`tagForChildDirectedTreatment = true`) and limited to families-
approved ad content per Google Play Families Ads Program.
- No personalised ads, no remarketing, no behavioural targeting.

3.2 Google Play Services
- Required by the Android platform for app distribution and SDK runtime.

We do not use Google Analytics, Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics, or
any other analytics/telemetry SDK.
4. Permissions Requested by the App

INTERNET Required only to load AdMob ads. No other network calls.
ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE AdMob checks connectivity before requesting an ad.
The App does not request camera, microphone, location, contacts,
storage, phone state, or any other sensitive permission.
5. Children's Privacy & COPPA / GDPR-K Compliance
Nusantara Kids is directed to children under the age of 13.
- We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children.
- All third-party SDKs are configured for child-directed treatment.
- We use Google Play's Designed for Families approved ad network only.
- No social features, no chat, no user-generated content, no external
links inside the App's child-facing area.
- A parental gate (a simple math problem) protects access to
Settings, links to this Privacy Policy, and contact email — children
cannot navigate away from the App or contact us without an adult.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe we have inadvertently
collected information from your child, please contact us using the
details in Section 8 and we will promptly delete it.
6. Data Sharing & Sale
We do not sell, rent, or share children's personal information with
third parties for advertising or any other purpose. The only data shared
is what AdMob inherently processes to serve a non-personalized ad
(see Section 3.1).
7. Security
We use commercially reasonable technical safeguards to protect the App.
Because we do not collect personal information, the risk surface is
intentionally minimal. No method of electronic storage or transmission
is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
